About Me
I’m a Yale-trained violinist turned producer and recording artist with a passion for blending classical technique with modern genres—from soundtracks and anime to pop. I’ve performed across six countries, led as Concertmaster for the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, and now share epic violin covers on YouTube and Spotify. My emotionally charged performances, collaborations with artists like Brian Hull and Rob Landes, and even a cameo in a JackSepticEye video have captivated over 20K Twitch fans and counting.
Musical Background
I discovered my love for the violin at age 2, growing up in an incredibly musical family. My father—a folk singer, guitarist, and church orchestra director—became my first teacher. By age 5, I began private lessons at Merit School of Music with Jennifer Cappelli, and later continued my studies under Guillaume Combet. Also at age 5, I started playing in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras, where I performed through high school. I had the privilege of participating in several prestigious summer festivals, including the Aspen Summer Festival, Interlochen, and Icicle Creek Summer Festival. After two years at DePaul University, I earned my Certificate of Performance from Yale University’s Graduate Program.
Appearances
My classical performance career has taken me to prestigious venues worldwide, spanning over seven countries and three continents. I served as Concertmaster of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and have performed with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Rocket City New Music, and Twickenham Fest. My work has been featured on From The Top, as well as on WLRH Classical Station and WFMT. I've had the privilege of soloing with both the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and the Chicago Businessman's Orchestra, and I've played under the guidance of maestros such as Gustavo Dudamel, Valery Giergev, and Peter Oundjian. Online, I’ve collaborated with creative talents like Rob Landes and Brian Hull, and I was also featured in a JackSepticEye video that launched my channel.
Personal
I'm a proud mom and wife, happily approaching a decade of marriage with my wonderful husband. Together, we have a vibrant 8-year-old son who keeps me inspired every day. When I'm not performing or creating music, I dedicate my spare time to homeschooling my son and caring for my family. Outside of music, I enjoy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, baking, crocheting, and knitting - activities that allow me to be creative outside of the studio. Fun fact, I played the violin at my own wedding as a surprise for my husband!
