Service Description
This one-hour private Zoom lesson is tailored to your unique needs, whether you're a beginner looking for guidance, an advanced player refining your technique, or someone preparing for an audition or competition. My teaching approach is flexible and personalized—I’ll assess your playing, identify areas for improvement, and help you break through any technical or musical challenges. You can use this session to focus on technique, musical interpretation, tone production, or even specific repertoire. While I have a classical background, lessons don’t have to be classical—we can work on any genre, whether solo pieces, orchestral excerpts, or purely technical skills. Whether you need a one-time check-in or ongoing instruction, this lesson is designed to provide targeted, practical advice that you can immediately apply to your playing. All lessons take place over Zoom.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations & No-Shows: Zoom lessons are non-refundable if you miss your scheduled session. If you arrive late, I am not obligated to extend the lesson time. Setup & Preparation: After booking, you will receive a Zoom link for your lesson. Please ensure you are in a quiet space where I can hear you clearly. Set up your camera in landscape mode so I can see both your violin and arms while you play. Have any music you’d like to work on ready, and if you need to send scores in advance, please email them before the lesson. Zoom Audio Settings: Before your lesson, go into Zoom settings and enable "Original Sound." Once the lesson starts, you’ll have the option to turn it on. This is crucial, as Zoom’s noise cancellation can mute your playing. If this is not set up beforehand and we have to troubleshoot during the lesson, I may not be able to make up that time. Rescheduling & Connectivity Issues: If I need to reschedule for any reason, I will provide alternative availability. In the event of an internet outage on my end (such as during a storm), I will offer either a rescheduled lesson or a discount on your next session, depending on how much time was lost.
